Raising Awareness of Pay Equality Issues

Campaigning for Pay Equality

Our February street stall at the Birdcage in Kendal focused on the theme of pay equality, and how this hasn't been totally achieved, and the new rules coming into force in April 2018 which will demand that any UK company with 250 or more employees must publish their gender pay gap data.

About 9,000 firms will have to calculate their gender pay gap and publish it on a government website by 4 April 2018 for the private sector, or by 30 March for the public sector.

ACAS has produced an information page about the Gender Pay Gap
