Labour candidates for Kendal Town Council

Taking place on May 3rd, the same day as the district council elections, electors in Kendal will be able to vote for councillors for Kendal Town Council.

The town council is the third, or lowest, tier of local government for Kendal. It has responsibility for providing allotments, it manages initiatives such as Mint Clean and Kendal in Bloom, and makes grants to a range of charitable, community and festival projects each year.

There are 28 town councillors across 14 town wards, currently every seat on Kendal Town Council is occupied by a Lib Dem councillor.  We intend to change that!

Our candidates for the Kendal Town Council wards are:

Phil Atherton

Kate Tordoff, Steve Palmer

Heron Hill
Lois Sparling

Paul Braithwaite

Tony Rothwell, John Bateson

Mick Downes, Tom Lynch

Helen Stafford

Alison Gilchrist

Trevor Batchelor, Ian Law

Jim Ring, Jo Magne
