Kate Love, the Women’s Officer for South Lakes Labour, is to be one of the speakers at the Democracy Roadshow in Barrow on Thursday 30th August. Taking place at The Forum in Duke Street, Barrow-in-Furness, commencing at 7pm, the Democracy Roadshow will see Chris Williamson MP and other Labour Party democrats  discuss Labour’s Democracy Review and the road to Conference 2018.

Kate has been invited to speak on ‘Women and Democracy’ at the Barrow event. Other speakers will include Chris Williamson MP (Derby North);  Tosh Macdonald, President of ASLEF , the train drivers union; Sean Hoyle, President of RMT, the rail maritime and transport union; and Iain Mooney, nurse and Unison activist from Barrow-in-Furness.
