The Labour candidate for Grange ward in the forthcoming by-election is Patricia Wright.
Patricia, a retired solicitor who lives in the Grange area, was born in Kendal and has worked for various Cumbrian local authorities and legal practices throughout her career, and is very familiar with issues that residents face in Grange. She has a great interest in the provision of affordable housing, local bus services and public toilets; and she wants to see proper funding for the much-loved Victoria Hall.
Patricia’s other interests include her membership of Soroptomists International, and she is also the founder and current C.E.O. of Craft Aid, which is a collective of crafters and a not-for-profit organisation raising funds for charities in the UK and internationally.
