South Lakes Labour are fielding candidates in many wards across South Lakeland and for Kendal Town Council. With 51 seats to fill, we offer a real alternative to Tory austerity and LibDem authority policies. The LibDems currently have an overall majority on South Lakeland District Council (31 out of 51 seats) and we mean to change that.
Kendal Town Council is totally LibDem controlled, and a single-party council is not good for local democracy.
Voting Labour on May 3rd will help redress the balance on SLDC and KTC and give voters a real voice on their local councils.
With more councillors, Labour CAN improve lives here!
