On behalf of Westmorland and Lonsdale Labour Party may I congratulate the candidates elected to serve as councillors in the recent unitary and town council elections, and thank everyone who supported Labour candidates in the wards in which we stood. Despite some disappointing local results, with 15 councillors Labour is the second largest party on Westmorland and Furness Council and leads Cumberland Council.
